Your Role and Responsibilities
As a valued member of our care team, your duties will include:
- Supporting service users with personal care and daily living activities
- Preparing nutritious meals and providing assistance with eating when needed
- Ensuring the comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing of those in our care
- Facilitating engaging activities and social interactions to enhance quality of life
- Assisting with practical tasks such as correspondence, bill management, and benefit collection
- Maintaining clean, comfortable living environments through light housekeeping
- Keeping accurate records of care activities and service user progress
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans
Training, Development & Requirement
Although there are no formal academic entry requirements, progress towards the appropriate qualifications for the job is expected.
* Both off- and on-the-job training is provided by AlignCare Collective,.
* A wide range of qualifications including NVQs/SVQs covering various aspects of care are available. Background checks including a DBS check will be required.
* Applicants must typically be a minimum of 18 years old and have experience of working in a healthcare environment.
